In the world of education, STEAM stands for science, technology, education, arts, and mathematics. It’s the incorporation of arts into STEM education. As a person with a visual arts background as well as a creative writer, I love this idea.
I’ve interviewed many people working in science and technology. Each one has told me that what they love the most about their job is the creative aspect of their work. So few people think of STEM as being creative. But, of course it is.
